When your oasis is a mirage

Reading:
Haggai chapter 2
Luke 19:28-48
1) Things that we remember can cause us disappointment.
When we are stuck in the past we will continuously be disappointed with the present, your memory can be a curse!
2) The things that we forget.
When days are dark we prayed like it's going out of fashion then when things are going well we don't even stop to thank The Lord for His deliverance.
3) The comparisons we make can cause us disappointment.
You have to live the life you are living stop comparing yourself to others, stop living vicariously through someone else. Make the most of what you have, accept the life you have and enjoy it. Ask God to help you be the best person you can be in this situation.
The cure
1) Let Go!!!
of the past, of certain relationships, of certain dream, of sin, of unfair governess, of hurt,
2) Looking up and understanding the power of God.
We can't control God, we can't understand His ways or his thoughts. The God who stood with David against Goliath is the same God with me. God always sends us forward, he's interested with our future-where we are going.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, (Hebrews 12:28 NIV)
3) Do something!
The longer you wallow in self pity the longer you'll stay there so wake up and do something.
